Can anyone point me to a discussion of applying neural networks to DNA data?

I would like to see generative neural networks applied to DNA versus the physical shape of the resulting animal.

Likewise for DNA versus IQ in humans. To answer what DNA is likely to give IQ 300?

Beijing Genomics Institute did a study of the genetic underpinnings of
IQ, but did not publicize the particulars...

In Silico Medicine (Alex Zhavonkorov and a big team in Russia) are
applying deep NNs to genomics extensively.... There are a couple
dozen other startups doing this these days...

My own work applying AI to genomics has focused on evolutionary
learning and probabilistic inference rather than NNs ...

Anyway when I started applying AI to genomics in 2001 it was a niche
area but now it's a flourishing industry...

See also Wang Jun's company iCarbonX in Shenzhen...

In answer to your first question,

and

are good places to start.

With regard to applying neural networks to  DNA (genetic regulatory networks) and the evolution of body plans (evo devo), these articles are  a great introduction:

With regard to applying neural networks to genetic regulatory networks  and the evolution of intelligent behavior (not just in humans), this might be a good place to start

Good luck!
