Time to say goodbye

I regret to announce I am going to be moving out of Toronto in August or September. Fan Expo will be my last act as VL of Toronto.

I will be moving to Peterborough, ON and setting up a lodge there.

What does this mean for Toronto?

At this point I'm not entirely sure. It would be good to find a new VL candidate to replace me. Someone else is going to have to coordinate The Sword & Board. If people would like the card game to continue Geoffery (or a new VL) can request a free subscription to the game and pass the box on to someone else.

With me gone, we're going to need more and more people to step up and GM. PFS is already struggling locally and we need new blood both as GMs and players. There have been some good ideas floated around on drawing more players. I hope to see them implemented.

I have a few maps that belong to the lodge as well as the kitty. I will pass these on to Paul.

The week after Fan Expo I will be at Phantasm in Peterborough. It's not a bad trip to make, at least for one day, and it's a really fun little con. So if anyone wants to see me, come visit!

Thank you for all your contributions to the PFS community here in Toronto. You've run countless number of games, organized special events, and been a great player and friend. I recall meeting you from my earliest PFS games and you were a leader then as you are now. It will be sad to see you go. I hope we'll cross paths every so often. Best of luck in Peterborough! They will be very happy to have you, I'm sure.

For those of us staying here, now more than ever we need members to take an active part in running games and organizing. Please let me know if you would like to contribute to keep this community going!

I plan to bring PFS and star finder if I can with me to KW.
