West Sound Spring regatta

Dear multi hull owners,

I haven’t been to the Cowbay regatta but hear nothing but good things and pla to be there this year. Seems like we have one multi hull get together each year for buoy racing. Was just chatting with Ryan Forbes who’s putting on the Orcas Island Spring regatta and he said he’d love to host another mutli hull regatta and can find room for us at the West Sound marina.

Would there be enough interest in having a second race weekend earlier in the year! April 4-5 for us to have our own start. It’s mostly J/70’s and PHRF boats. I’ve always enjoyed racing there and it’s similar to Cowbay in as much as there tends to be wind there funneled between the hills on either side even when the islands are quiet.

Just throwing it out there to see if we can rally some interest.
