Hello Texas FTC, and welcome to the FIRST Tech Challenge DECODE Presented by RTX season!
The new season is getting underway. As happened last year, FIRST Tech Challenge been making big changes over the summer. Most notably, FTC just announced a complete overhaul of the advancement criteria used to determine which teams progress from entry level events to higher level events. They've also announced increases in FIRST Championship and Premiere Event spots.
On Tuesday, August 5th at 7pm we will hold a Zoom meeting online where key Texas volunteers and leaders will review and discuss the updated advancement system, plus any other news we can share regarding the upcoming 2025-2026 DECODE season.
Registration for the Zoom meeting is at http://tiny.cc/ftc-clinic .
Please mark your calendars to join us on August 5th, so you can learn and ask questions about the changes that are in store for the new season. Coaches and others from outside of Texas are welcome to join this meeting also, and we expect to be simulcasting to YouTube as well.

Since "Preview Release" of the DECODE Competition Manual is published today, this meeting will also cover key changes and features in the new Competition Manual as well.
We hope to see you in the Zoom meeting, August 5th @ 7pm (tomorrow!).
