Hi guys--

Does anyone off-hand know where I can get mute switch caps. Look at how shitty this looks:

I used to have a bag of them but I lost them.

I think the originals were made by Switchcraft. Maybe measure and see what they have.?
Sent from the road…

I went through Mouser once and couldn't find them, but that's likely on
me, the Mouser search being what it is.

Matt please keep us posted if you score.

I have a Series 1E board and checked.

On mine, all those pushbutton switches are Schadows. Last I knew, they were NLA. But I think C&K (now apparently under Littelfuse ownership) took on the Schadow line at some point for at least some of the switches and accessories.

The 2-Mix and the Mute switches on my console are wider than the standard caps: ~0.29" vs ~0.21" (the lengths are the same, ~0.47"). I can't find anything in the C&K catalog other than the F14:

https://www.ckswitches.com/media/1402/fpush.pdf

Mouser has them listed in black, white and red (light gray being special order):

https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/CK/F1401?qs=u2NJ%252B70r0go5YCut3DCtyg%3D%3D
https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/CK/F1402?qs=u2NJ%252B70r0grgbTxhhdeaCA%3D%3D
https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/CK/F1403?qs=u2NJ%252B70r0grvc36Cr%252BCFhA%3D%3D

Good luck,
Chris

Hi Matt,

I thought you were going to get them from Mike at Sytek? Did that not pan out?

Chris
