Hello, everybody!

I'd be extremely grateful for any of these three books:

1. Wendy Mayer and Pauline Allen: The Churches of Syrian Antioch (300-638 CE). (2012)

2. Christian Archaeology in the Holy Land. New Discoveries. Essays in Honour of V.C. Corbo, Ofm. [Bottini G.C., Di Segni L. and Alliata E., eds.]. (1990)

3. Agostino (Augustin) Augustinović: Gerico e dintorni: guida. (1951)

Kind regards,

Alen

Very unusual question. Has anyone here used manuscripts or books from the Jersusalem Greek Patriarchal Library? I am interested in the physical appearance of the volumes. I imagine they must have tags of some kind like a modern library for coding and filing on the shelves so they can be easily retrieved. Is the year of the manuscript listed on the sticker/tag?

Thank you

Stephan

Dear Stephan,
The manuscript library was renovated about ten years ago and is beautiful.
They made sure not to over modernise and keep the beauty of the books and the bookshelves.
Thankfully,  the integrity of the original collections was kept untouched and there are no new coding on the labels :)
Having said that, some of the catalogues still require new editions and better digital images would be very helpful too.
I can send you some photos if you like.
Best wishes,
Merav
