Inbox also starred?

Hi,

Android app MLO2:

I am using the zoom function to switch between hobbies, work and personal activities. Which works pretty good. However, new tasks that I come up on the fly (using the add new todo widget) end up in the Inbox. I can star those items, but they never show up on my starred items list because the folder is not a child of the "personal" view, which I am zoomed in to. This is kind of annoying. Is there a way to add new tasks to a different box, or make the inbox part of the zoomed view? Also, the move task never allows you to create a subfolder, which seems to happen sometimes where the new destination does not yet exist in the tree, e.g. a new project or subfolder.

With regards,
- Jorgen

Hello Jorgen,
I have a similar structure to you, with top level folders for each area of my life. I used to zoom into each area, but now I find it's better to set up advanced filters, using "TopLevelFolderName contains 'work'", etc. It would be easy to set up the advanced filter to OR "TopLevelFolerName contains 'InBox'".

This works on Desktop and iOS. I can't say for Android.

Hi, Jorgen, I will try to address your second question. When you say "Move Task" I think you are talking about drag & drop, is that correct? I find that drag and drop is helpful for short moves, like re-ordering the steps in a project. For longer or more complicated moves I use cit and paste. Moving a task to a project or folder that doesn't exist yet would, to me, qualify as complicated. My process would be, longtap the task to bring up the inline menu, tap the clipboard to bring up the cut&paste submenu, select cut. Then, scroll to the destination area and create the new folder/project. Longtap the folder/project to bring up the inline menu, tap the clipboard to bring up the cut&paste submenu, select paste-as-child.
