Feature Request: MLO on IOS, Quick Action for Add Inbox Item

Hi,
the new IOS option to use 3D Touch on iphone 6s is really great.
I would be happy to see a quick action to add a new item to the inbox. That would be technical a small enhancement but huge value for usability.

Hi, I've been a user of the full iOS version for quite a while. 

Regarding your question about quickly add something to the inbox, I thought that's what the blue button at the bottom of the "home page" that says "Add to inbox" is all about. 

Let me know if you're talking about something else.

Regarding 3d Touch...when you mentioned it..I was looked for any reference to it in most up to date documentation. Couldn't find anything. Can you let me know what features of MLO for iOS now use 3d touch?

Hi Majorbillion,

3D touch is a standard feature of iOS which recognises a harder press on the touch screen and triggers some action as a result.

For MLO this would mean hard pressing the app icon on the home screen could reveal a menu which offers e.g. Add to inbox and/or Add by voice. Thus you could add an entry to the inbox without opening the app, moving to the side menu and pressing the Blue button --> one hard press instead of three. Doesn't that sound like a good ratio?

Btw.: not all generations of iPhones support this feature (starting with iPhone 6s).

If you own an iPhone 6s or above try pressing hard on the app icon and see what happens...

Hello,

is anybody from the MLO team reading this group?

I mean there are regular updates to MLO for iOS (latest today) so it seems the software is being maintained - something I do like very much!

On the other hand there are features supported by the OS that would be especially handy for a task manager (3D touch, Siri, .. ) and have not found their way into MLO for more than a year?

Would anybody from MLO team mind giving us an idea what future features you plan to add to MLO?

.. and I am **not** asking for an exact date for every single feature... just sort of a roadmap with a periodization of the features.

Yes that clarifies and I totally agree with you. It would be nice to be able to perform multiple functions by hard pressing the mlo icon without even entering the app.
