Would it be possible to develop a pop-window of Unassigned Tasks that I could invoke, then click and drag unassigned tasks into a Project Outline?  This would save a lot of time toggling between views and using a three-step clipboard function to move tasks I may have added on the move into a specific project in the right place in its heirarchy.  a

I run two copies of a database at the same time for this kind of work.

Hello The Alsatian,

Good news: It's already possible to do what you want, in the Windows version. You need to set up a tab with a view filtered to show "Unassigned Tasks" (maybe the predefined In Box view does that, for you?). You can then right click on that tab and select "open in new window", or press F3.

Select whatever view you want in the main window and then you can drag and drop tasks from the F3 window to wherever you want in your outline.

Thanks!  I’ll do as you suggest.

Such a simple and elegant solution.  Thanks!

Next up.  Figuring out how to create a GANNT Chart view of tasks displaying begin and end dates.  I’m thinking maybe I can just export my Task List to some free software like Project Libre.
