Is there a way to hide future reoccurring tasks?

 there a way to hide reoccurring tasks? For example if I complete the task in September and it won’t be due again until October. Is there a way to hide the task in outline until October?

Matthew, did you already have a look at the advanced filter capabilities?

Try something like ...
 
DueDateTime on or before today OR
DueDateTime is empty
 
And you'll get only those tasks that are either due or overdue.

Set a Start a Date of when you would like to see it appear in your Active ToDo list. This could be the same as your Due Date or before as set by the lead time.
