I'm deleting a folder with no visible tasks, and am stopped by a dialog asking, "Are you sure? There are invisible subtasks."

Uh... no there are not. Not from what I can tell. I mean, there are literally no subtasks in this folder. So what do I do to make sure I'm not deleting tasks I can't see?

Try left hand menu "All Tasks" view, (or left hand menu ==> Filter at bottom ==> General ==> Show Actions:All)
plus "completed tasks shown" (middle of top menu).
Also make sure Advanced filters is not ticked.

PS Also under Contexts in LH menu make sure "All" is highlighted

On MLO/Android, if you swipe across a task right-to-left it open a Task Preview display. Scroll to the bottom and find a section called "subtasks" and there is a list of all of the subtasks for the current task/folder/project. I'm not sure, but I think that there might be a similar list in MLO/Windows in the "task statistics" section of the task details display in the right hand sidebar.

Yes, that was the view I was in.

plus "completed tasks shown" (middle of top menu).

Ah, there it was. I clicked on the eyeball button that toggles displaying completed tasks. When I did that before, it didn't expand it automatically, so I didn't see the completed task. This time, when I clicked to show all completed tasks, I saw the little arrow that expands the subtasks. Clicked that and THERE IT WAS.

Thank you, John.Smith!
