MLO does not allow you to insert inline images into your tasks. You
cannot even create an image "attachment" in the sense of an image that's
stored as a part of the task record. (or non-image attachments, for that
matter). With one small exception, all that you can do is to create a
hyperlink in your task notes area that points to an image file (or other
file) stored either at a web (http) address or in the local or network
connected file system.
The exception involves *very* time images. If you store one in icon
format (*.ico filename) you can import it into MLO and assign it as the
icon for a named flag. You can then set this flag for your task and the
image will appear in the icon column of the task display.
There have been several requests for attached files, not of which have
(yet) beem implemented. I believe that there is some concern that files
stored in the user profile database will lead to enormous profiles and
degraded performance.
