A recurring issue I have with my workflow is the creation of tasks. Most of my tasks are initiated by incoming e-mails and, though I own MLO for Windows, I use MLO for iOS at least 90% of the time. With no ability to simply “share” an email with MLO from any e-mail app I have tried (Outlook, AltaMail - my current favorite, Preside, Spark, AirMail, etc.), does anyone have any ideas for the best way to do this? Is forwarding the email to my MLO Online Sync address the only way?

Hi,  I use the Outlook email to Outlook task feature, then the Mlo outlook task sync feature.

Seems to work, but you have to be careful on sync spaces, otherwise it'll just waste your time

Just use the cloud. You send an email to tge address associated with the cloud database and then you sync the cloud database with tge offline one:

1 Make sure you have an active cloud sync subscription
2 Sync the offline database with a new cloud database

3 Then Go here
https://sync.mylifeorganized.net/mlo/

Log in, look for the cloud database you just created,

somewhere below its name you should find "Send task by email" or something like that

Define the email address for that database.

Done

Now all email sent to thst address will be conveted to taks. To see all new tsks you just new the sync the offline database with the cloud one

Hope this helps

Often, the email is not only the "text" of a task, but is the task itself, as it requires an answer, or at least, needs to be open.
For that, I add a task with a context "mail" and paste the link of the webmail item (I use Gmail).
