I know I know, I can write it somewhere... but is there a way of changing this password so it fits into my memory?
Thanks

Hi

If you speak about windows mlo, and you wish to recover the profile protected by password - try to contact support at
sup...@mylifeorganized.net
This forum may not be the best place to speak about the mlo password break.

Another way to recover your data is to restore it from the cloud if you had synced to it before.

If you need to remember passwords, you can use the keepass application.
http://keepass.info
It's free and it's available on various platforms.

use something like 1passoword to encrypt and store all your password so you can refer back later.

As a windows and android user, I myself is using this → http://upm.sourceforge.net/

hope this is helpful :-)

+1 for KeePass

We use KeePass as well and sync it to our phones. Love it. It is very handy to always have your information with you.
Since the setup for mobile syncing (through Dropbox) is a bit difficult I tend to recommend LastPass for non-tech people who want a free solution. Especially since the mobile sync is now free as well.
For a couple more ideas with more features like password-sharing you can check out my post at https://www.small-business-technology.net/security/best-password-managers/
If you don't mind fiddling around and doing some research then do look at KeePass. We like the interface more than LastPass.

As an alternative to KeePass, I use HanDBase (from DDH software) - It's the only relational database app available on iOS and it has versions available for Android and Windows. You can use it to set up an encrypted database to store your passwords and other sensitive data, while having the flexibility to set up any other custom databases you want, with links and lookup lists between databases and custom forms for data entry and display.  I've been using it since the days I owned a Palm M500 and use it for tracking all sorts of stuff.
