Licensing & Multiple Devices

Thanks for a great solution.  I've used many over the years and MLO is EXACTLY what I was looking for.

I have the Pro version installed on my laptop along with a subscription to Cloud synch.  According to what I'm seeing in other posts licensing is per user, not per device however when I'm working on my home desktop or iPhone I constantly get messages stating I need to upgrade to the Pro edition.  Task are syncing so I believe it's setup correctly.

are there instructions for correctly adding additional devices so they recognize the pro license?

I’m not on tech support Kenny, but my understanding is that if you install it on other devices, you need to buy a separate license for each device.

 

Once you buy the license, you log into your cloud account and sync.  I’ve done this with a few employees; namely, bought them licenses and linked them to the one cloud account.

  There's a description on the MLO website that should answer your question. Quick answer: One license = up to 5 desktop installs for a single user. Multiple users would require multiple licenses.

  Mobile devices are separate licenses per platform. I have an Android license, an iOS license, and a Desktop license to cover all my needs.

Just to add that you do need to apply your licence key to each instance of MLO. See under Settings->Registration.

Thanks all.  I was under the impression if I purchased the cloud sync I didn't need a Pro subscription for my iphone as well.  I'll get the license.
