Creating notes to a new task

Hi,

This seems fundamental, but I am unable to get this right.

When I create a task and want to add a note associated with it. I can't create  one

A simple note on what the task is and a short briefing.

The older ones seem to have it which I don't remember how I created.

Appreciate if someone can tell me how to create a note for a new task created.

hi

The hotkey Alt+F2 will toggle the task properties pane.

At the top of the pane you'll see the notes area.

Good to know about the hot key. But it toggles the visibility of the notes associated with the task. But if I try to create a new task, it is created without notes icon. And if I want a note to be associated with there is no command that I know. But if I try to copy an existing task which has notes on it, the new task will have notes. Otherwise not

This is the workaround that I am using

Go to View -> enable Properties Pane to always see notes on the right.
