For your need I used to add a dependency task, I mean the task that need to be completed will dependent of specific task.
For that, got to Dependencies section in the task properties panel and add the apropriate tasks.
On the Delay field set the time for it to wait and, as soon as you tick the task from which the main depends upon the main task will not appear until that time comes.
So, it will appear on your to-do list.
Another method is to assign a specific context to it and filter it according to that in a separate tab (but not necessary) if you want.
