MLO Android Flag Sync Bug??

Hi all,

I realized that after chaged a flag icon on MLO Win, and then syncronized with MLO Android the icon changed all category icons and matched the one I´ve choosen in Win version.

All icons from the category (green flag) are now displaying the icon I've changed on MLO Win ($ icon), but on this last one (MLO Win) they remain unchanged.

Is it a bug in MLO Android?

Am I missing anything?

This happens to me too but with contexts most times. My workarond is: 1-Edit / Rename context ( or flag in your case) 2-Do NOT sync right away 3- Export all views from MLO ( or at least all views that involve that specific context) and reimport then in the Android version 4-Now you can sync.

If I don't do this duplicates will popup everywhere.

This workaround will minimize that.

Though, I think MLO Team should change this because that is crucial for MLO usability.

Imagine I have lots of views and flags?

I beg MLO Team pardon, but doing that is annoying since the purpose of MLO is to help us free up our mind.

I expect this to be fixed as soon as MLO Team can.

Hello Alyona,

I am trying to reproduce it the best way to explain what the issue is.

I just realized that, though I change the icon of a specific flag, p.ex. "finance" (maybe one that had previously been green flag - I dont know) three flags are treated the same way.

These are, one green flag I renamed to "important" and "gren flag1"; I mean, as I change the icon for "finance" they are chaged too for "important" and "green flag1".

This issue is only visible in MLO Android, but do not happens in MLO Win.

I just do not know why!?

I there any reason?

Thank you for the information provided.
Basically, it is supposed that each flag has its own icon, otherwise the point of flag is lost. Either way, we have replicated the issue following the steps:

• On Desktop create several flags with the same custom icon, assign them to tasks
• Sync to the Android app
• Now on Desktop change the icon for one of the flags with identical icons
  
• Sync to the Android app
  The result: On Android the icon has been changed for all flags which previously had identical icons
  

Hope we have not missed anything. Please confirm.

Our next update for Android will contain the fix. Once available please install it and let us know if it works correctly on your side.

If you are going to use the profile where the bug occurred, please do the following first:

- delete the flags with custom icons on Android
- recreate them on Desktop
- sync with Android as you normally do
