Hello,
I use MLO on a windows workstation as well as on my Android phone and have pro versions of both.
I have been transitioning to a Linux workstation and am wondering when MLO will have a windows version available ?
There are appimages for both ToDoist and Wunderlist, though the Wunderlist app leaves much to be desired, and the ToDoist app is an electron app around a simple web-wrapper which is surprisingly resource intensive.

Is there any chance of a simple web-wrapper for MLO for linux that might eventually become a full blown linux app ? There is no non-web based todo list apps for linux so this is a great opportunity for MLO.

Oh yes, I remember when he released a Linux version. It wasn't loaded with all the features. I think I remember agreeing that it would spread resources too thin so he put focus back into making the Android version and better features on Windows.

Now I wonder how the win version works in wine on Linux

Running MLO in wine on linux works exactly as well as the windows version if all the pre reqs are installed, which are Microsoft XML Parser (MSXML) 3.0 and Platform SDK Redistributable: GDI+

I use Wine to run MLO under OSX and it works really well, so Wine seems to be the solution for non-Windows desktop environments.

I realize this is an old thread, but for those of you that have MLO working under Wine, what version of wine and what version of Windows are you using? I am trying to get this to work and it appears everything but the sync is working. I get a "Could not login to server. Server Response: "Out of memory" when trying to sync.

I have Antergos Linux running KDE Plasma if that makes a difference.

Any help appreciated!

Install winetricks and then:
install DLL or component -> ie7 ie8 msls31 msxml3 msxml4 msxml6 wininet

then
winecfg -> libray -> change to only native for iexplore, msxml3

It would be good to get some text about the method into the MLO user manual, if you're willing to write out a step-by-step.

(From a personal point of view, the latest Windows 10 update has broken my ability to access my NAS server. This is the "straw which breaks the camel's back" and I'm seriously considering looking into Linux, even though I'm a bit nervous about having to learn how to grapple with Linux command line syntax and complicated software installation and management).
