Anyone else experiencing problems with v5.0 on Windows 10 with an unresponsive window header? The application works fine but I cannot minimize, maximize or close it using the standard icons on the top right of the window. Using the default Windows key shortcuts does work. It's only the window header buttons.

Hi Steven,

Similar concerns were raised in the following threads: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!searchin/mylifeorganized/freezing|sort:date/mylifeorganized/-qREK2i7MPU/b0JYpmzkBgAJ and https://groups.google.com/forum/#!searchin/mylifeorganized/freezing|sort:date/mylifeorganized/Y2-07-iCLCw/4SLMDUgaGAAJ

We suspect that the freezing issue is caused by antivirus software, or rather its "Do not disturb" functionality. Please specify which AV you are using.

If you are using Avast/AVG please try removing this feature completely following the steps: Open AVG Internet Security > Menu > Settings > Components > Do not disturb > Click on the drop down > Uninstall Component

Let us know if it helps or if the issue still persists so that we can help you further.

I have Windows 10 and I'm not experiencing any problems. I have Bitdefender if that info helps.

It's neither antivir nor dnd. I've that same symptoms on win 10 without additional av.

Can you reproduce the issue? It would really help us investigate the issue if you provide us a screencast video of the bug and the logs: MLO- >Tools- >Options- >Troubleshooting- >Export Logs- >Send a received archive to MLO support.

Thank you.

It happens to me too. I have Microsoft Surface PC's. To be able to move the window, I have to exit MLO and restart the application. I use Eset antivirus. There is no error message, the MLO window just gets stuck in its position on the screen.

I've also noted this on 2 Windows 10 machines. One is a desktop PC running BitDefender 2019, the other a laptop with a corporate WebRoot install. Much more frequent on the laptop.

Not easily reproducible (read: I haven't figured out the steps yet!). I have noticed that this only happens when MLO is maximized.

I'll keep a look out if it happens again.

ON my PC's it can happen also when MLO is not maximized. It has not happened the last few days but it has been an intermittent issue for some time.

I can confirm this, too.

No special AV is installed. Just the built-in Defender.

I love the progress of the development, really :)

You are so fast guys.
