Hi, Marvin. You can stuff a single number into a task in the "effort required " field. It's denominated in hours bit you can put in 100 hours to represent $100, or use one hour 40 minutes (=100 minutes). What I don't know is how to get a total. My best idea is to look for a way to export your mlo/windows profile to a spreadsheet and take the tot as ls and averages there. Still have to use multiple tools bur at least the work breakdown and budget come from the same source.

Using YNAB as well. It is the first personal money software I've used that made sense. (Pun very unintended.)
I get the small footprint thing. Not asking for RTF, but it is one thing that I find holds MLO back for me. I do wish there was a way to select a branch and copy everything out and paste it into Evernote. Once I am done a project, I'd like to store the whole thing as a note. That isn't handy right now at all.

Hi, John. I understand that
pictures and attachments produced bloat and I've stopped requesting them. I
don't buy that rtf=bloat though. Let me be specific. I am not necessarily
looking for the specific implementation called rtf. I want a
dismissable toolbar that allows me to select the following formatting
options: bold, italic, underline, larger/smaller characters, tab, indent,
numbered/bulleted list, color. And I want the selected
formatting to appear across platforms. I do not imagine that this
constitutes bloat or that it would be all that expensive to build.
