Graphic character disappears after sync

I have a high level branch called Pinned, into which I put tasks which I want always to show, and for fun I looked for a character which symbolises this

and replaced the word Pinned with the Unicode character

It looked OK in both Windows and Android but as soon there is a sync, the symbol is removed.

Is there any way to make symbols like this stay?

I use another symbol for my checklists branch ✔ which stays, so I guess it depends on the type of symbol, and I don't know what will work without experimenting.

Does anyone know if there is a way to make the pushpin stay?

Hi Dwight,

It seems to be the same or connected issue: if a text from Notes contains some special characters (it were emoticons before copying from a web page, and after copying MLO is displayed it as squares) - after Sync not only the special characters itself, but also all tail text after the first such character disappears. To reproduce it, just copy text from https://www.instagram.com/p/BSQaXZxB9-h/ into an MLO task Notes then save the task and trigger Sync.

Just for reference - several such emoticons: 😉😍😇😊💃

It is a bit unexpected behavior. I would like to have the copied text unchanged after Sync - let's throw out all this garbage(emoticons), but please allow the the plain text to stay :)

It is reproducible at least on Windows desktop versions - MLO Professional Edition 3.6.3 and  MLO Professional Edition 4.4.3
