Automatic test

Hello Web Teststers!

Where I work we produce a number of MRAID ads, and I would like to set up an automatic functional test suite to ensure that they behave well in a mobile browser/webview. For this we will probably use selenium and mocha. 

So my question is how do you think I can use the web-tester to achieve this? Did anyone think about this already? 

Also, I would like to contribute as much as possible to the web-tester.

Alex,

We are actively developing the web-tester right now, so your timing is great. Our current effort is to make sure all the test ads from the IAB are running well -- which is nearing completion.

Using the web-tester for automated testing with Selenium should definitely be possible. With the setup page you should be able to always control the size of the tester and the flight tab should provide a good setup. Just a note that the Fragment HTML field pre-populates from the query string. Could help.

The IAB Test Suite is still under discussion, but I've added the current versions to the issue list. If you search All Issues for "Display of IAB ad" they each have attachements.
