Remove hard-coded version info from the plugins page

Very often I find that the (latest) version info on the plugins page [1] is incorrect. This is because it's a manual task part of the release process, which is easily forgotten.

I suggest that we replace the hard-coded version with a link to central listing all available versions. It would make sure we don't have incorrect version info published and also remove one manual step from the release process.

If someone feels strongly about this, please comment on issue 19 [2].

We could maybe use shields.io functionality on the entry page? E.g.
