Hello,

I have just started using mod_pagespeed on two cpanel vps's.

I must say that it is really a great product.

I do have an issue with one domain though with pagespeed turned on (it is  zen cart site 1.51)

I have turned pagespeed off for now, which has fixed the issue with the one domain.

I am just wondering if I can turn pagespeed back on, and just turn it off / disable for the one domain?

Thank you for your time.

Kind regards,
Anthony

Sure.  Just put 'ModPagespeed off' in the VirtualHost configurationt for the domain you want to disable.

Hi,

You can reenable mod_pagespeed then edit the VirtualHost entry for the problematic domain and add this line:
  ModPagespeed off

Also, if you describe what problems you're having with that domain we're happy to try to work out a solution.

cheers, m.

Cpanel will always flush the entries added in httpd.conf file. So, you need to add ModPagespeed off in .htaccess file of the domain to make it to work.

Hi guys,

Thank you for the replies.

Can I therefore just add ModPagespeed off to the .htacess file in the public_html folder of the affected domain, and this will turn off mod_pagespeed for the whole domain (ie. including all folders within the public_html folder).

Or do I have to add ModPagespeed off to each .htaccess file in all the folders within the public_html folder for that domain?

Thanks for any help.

Kind regards,
Anthony

Just apply it at the top level directory for the domain.  You don't need to turn it off in each subdirectory.
