Hi,
on my new Debian 12 system I cannot get Mnemosyne (v 2.9) to sync anymore.
it shows “Socket error: [Errno 110] Connection timed out” even though the settings are as displayed. (I'm in my home network.)
When I start it from the command line, there also is no error output so I don't know what to do?
Thanks!

I'm afraid this has to be something related to your network. I would
check if the server is actually running and still on the IP address
and port number you expect.

Good luck!

Turns out my Debian/Linux Firewall UFW (Uncomplicated Firewall) blocked the Port!
I added it with `sudo ufw allow 8512/tcp`.

Pretty confusing if checking the server returns that it's running …

Glad you fixed it! (The server can only check if it's running
successfully, not if it's reachable from other machines....)
