Synced flashcards not working on Android

I'm running Mnemosyne 2.3.4 on Linux in conjunction with the Mnemosyne Android app on Android 4.4.4. I'm using .mp4 videos (and a few .jpg images) to learn ASL and everything works great on the Linux box. Sync with Android completes successfully and I have verified that the media files are copied to my Android device. However, when I open Mnemosyne on Android, nothing plays. It seems that the flashcards simply do not load/play. Any ideas?

Video is not yet supported under Android, I still have to find the best way to do this...
