Hello,

thanks for a great piece of software. Hope to contribute a translation, maybe some help file authoring, proof reading, other / testing etc. once I have mastered the usage of Mnemosyne. But...

I found a setting for font size, which I readily changed so that I can read Chinese / Japanese chars. Unfortunately it was only applied to the saved flashcard, not to the edit panes. So, editing kanji is really a strain for ye olde eyes.
Did I miss a setting or does it only apply to the finished card?

Also, in the future, maybe someone wants to add a tool to also write / draw the kanji on the answer side of the card (or maybe it is already possible, I just didn't get it).

Running Win10 on Acer Aspire ES17, using Chrome.

Thanks for any answers,
Stinde,
Finland

Strange, on my system the 'Edit card' dialog uses the font and the
font size you have set in "Configure Mnemosyne..."

Are you using the latest version of Mnemosyne? Can you try with a
different font?

Cheers,

Peter

Hello Peter,

if you change the scaling, you can reproduce a bug, I reported some time
ago. If I put the scaling to at least 150%, the statistics window
disappears at the lower bottom of the screen, or in other words, it is
"displayed" outside of the screen.

This doesn't help with Stinde's problem though, because the font size in
the edit window seems to be independent from this scaling factor.

Enter the search term "display" at the start button and change the
scaling, like in this post:

Cheers,

Abakus

The issue is that these things are handled directly by the libraries we use. I don't have any direct influence on this, so we can only wait for new versions...

Ok, that's too bad. :/ You probably have already informed the developers.

But I still have fairly good eyes, therefore down-scaling the font size is not a problem. ;)
