defective creator board? memtester errors

Hi Guys,

The Creator board I’ve received shows some stability issues. Random crashes, SGX demo is disrupted with stack traces printed on screen.

I suspect that the board has bad memory, so I ran memtester (see screenshot).

Could you advise me what I can do, what is the RMA procedure?

Thank-you for your post.

These crashes shouldn't happen and memtest should succeed.

We are taking a look internally regarding possible software issues
revolving around this.

We'll go towards RMA when we have more details on that.
I'll try and keep you posted.

It is a new batch of boards.

DDR timing is an area we are looking at.

And a rough idea of what the ambient temperature is in your room.

Board was powered using the supplier power adapter. Ambient temperature is room temperature 20 degrees C.

Hi,

I just received my purple ci20.

I thought I'd continue this thread since I also get failures during memtester and after a few iterations it crashes.

Ambient room temperature of 22 degrees celcius.

Power supply 1.5A, delivered with Sony smartphone.

I run the Debian image that was on the board when it was delivered.

The only thing I have done is: plugged it in ssh:ed  on to it and ran memtester.

We are still taking a look at this and need more bad boards for testing. :)

Please check http://elinux.org/CI20_Troubleshooting#Definitely_an_RMA_after_community_troubleshooting and send Sales.Support an email for RMA.
