I did try rebooting the computer after it happened. There was a message about "user profile service failed the sign-in". Then I rebooted again and all seemed OK. Then was the problem about the memory error. Then since MSMoney Sunset is installed on my laptop, I copied the *.mny file and two recent backups and put them on the laptop, in the userid\documents folder and they opened OK. I got everything up to date.
This morning I started the laptop and go the
"user profile service failed the sign-in" error on the laptop. But when I tried to launch money I got the exact same popup that I got on the desktop, on the laptop. The desktop is running Win 10 and cannot upgrade to Win 11. The laptop is running Win 11 after months ago I updated from Win 10. Didn;t have any problem until now.
So I guess I need to correct the "user profile service" error.
When I look at the desktop, Windows 10 reports (for the programs) as having Microsoft Money Plus, Installed 04/03/23 with 100 Gb and version 17. On the Laptop it shows Microsoft Money Plus, installed 11/25/2022 and version 17. But it show 101 Gb. I think this has been reported before.
Maybe I should do a reinstall before going foward? I don't know why I got the user profile error.
