strange behavior when running analyze command

heya, been getting some odd behavior from all 5 of my mfm drives upon running the analyze command. regardless of the drive, the command fails when it says "returning to track 0". 3/5 of the drives will seemingly bang their heads indefinitely until i pull power, the remaining 2 will stop after a brief period of time, but will still spit out "command 6 fault 300 status XX" (status has varied) if its any help, the drives are: an st-225, 2 st-251s, a st-238r, and an st-4096. my cables for j3 and j4 are properly oriented to pin 1. thanks in advanced!

Seems like the emulator isn't seeing the track 0 signal from the drive.
Do you have another 34 pin cable you can try in case the cable is bad?

Turns out I was using an fdd cable. I made the mistake of keeping both the known HDD cable and the fdd cable from the same system in the same box and absolutely grabbed the wrong one aahahha!
