I've been using Momento database for a long time now, this is the first time I've had trouble. I don't see where I can import a Google sheet into momento. I switched phones and need to import spreadsheets that I've made with momento.

How can I do this?

To import into a library from CSV file...

Create the library, with fields to match what will be in the file.
Then, while looking at the empty list of entries, press the ellipses icon in the upper right corner (on a small phone, you'll need to swipe to right to left to open the side menu, same as for sorting)
To the right of Edit Library is s 3-vertical-dots icon, press that
Select Import & Export
Select Import from CSV
Navigate to your file & select it

You can take it from there.

Thanks, appreciate the help. There used to be a way to directly import from Google Drive. Is that feature not available anymore?

I've been using it since version 2, when the FAQ was the thing to read and I wrote the wiki, and I never knew of it in the Android edition. Maybe it was before that?

There's syncing, of course, but as for import & export, it's been from & to CSV.

Hallo

Hello
If you want to transfer the whole Memento to another cell phone, you can also create a backup in the old cell phone and transfer this file to the new cell phone and have Memento restore it there. This way, they have transferred all their data at once

As far as I know, csv import/export now only available with paid versions.

Yeah, but it requires only a one-time payment of $15 to get import/export capability along with a slew of other basic features. It's the no-brainer first thing to do once you know that Memento is worth keeping and spending time with.

To do that, buy the Memento Pro License Key. To do that, tap the 3-line "hamburger" menu in the top left corner of the screen, then scroll to the bottom and tap Upgrade, then tap the rightmost tab LICENSE KEY. Mine says Activated, but yours won't. There should be a button to upgrade for $14.99 or something like that.

The product names are confusing. I've always wished they'd change them, but it's been years, so I guess they're gonna keep them. The Pro License Key is a one-time fee for the client app for Android devices. It is not a cloud or desktop edition purchase! For all those products, see the Pricing page at MementoDatabase.com.

Vasiliy, please finally change this silly confusion, or explain to us what is your reasoning for not doing that! Thank you.
