Dear Experts,
We found 42 mm distortion in bottom plate after welding with shell. Is it acceptable? Please share reference standard.
Please note tank fabrication is going on within shop.

Dear Friend,
As per API 650, Cls 7.5 it was mention in dimension tolerance topic
that The bulging of bottom plate shall not exceed .25% of dia of tank
(for tank dia <40m) unless otherwise mentioned. 100mm max. for tank
dia >40m.
