This is to wish you a very Happy 2015 and lots of blessings and protection from the Almighty God. Abundant love from our Saviour Jesus Christ and Great wisdom inspiration from the Holy Spirit. May your plans become a reality and hope that you will be a miracle to someone in this coming year.

Remember there are others who are enduring more suffering than us, let us pray for them and where possible let us alleviate their suffering. We are entering 2015 for a purpose, we are but God's ambassadors with a mission. Don't undermine your potential.

God bless you and your families. God bless Marist Secondary School, its administration and members of staff.

HAPPY AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL.

Dear All,

Hoping all of us had a blessed crossover to 2015 except the unfortunate incident that robbed the life of our fellow parent in Blantyre, may his soul rest in peace. Happy and prosperous new year to you all. I am sure all of us have received letters on the adjustment of school fees and financial updates. With the big jump in the school fees, the adjustment in PTA contribution and the proposed K40,000.00 development contribution per ward, to be honest I have personally been financially overstretched. Probably, it is not only myself. I am just wondering whether the role of PTA in a private education institution like ours need to be rethought or revisited. This is just my thought after feeling the financial burden which I need to somehow surmount. How are others feeling?

May you experience the joy and peace from the Lord in 2015.

Thanks for the crossover.

Your financial woes are understood but what it takes is to look into the future and what the school is doing to our dear sons.

What I can advise is that let us make a contribution which we feel will be lifetime. One may have a student about to finish and may think why should I contribute the developmental contribution but one should think of what the future has for us.

You may be financially not okay now but if you have a conviction of wanting to do something you can still do it. First prioritize the fees contribution and plan on what you can do on the developmental contribution. I do understand that you can make little by little till you finish the contribution and do not force yourself and that will still be accorded.

That is my personal advice and the views are strictly personal to a fellow parent who love to be associated with a developmental school. If I may say we do not want to think of the schools where our children schooled as we nowadays do when we go to the schools we learnt long time ago which are in dilapidated conditions.

Let's do it now to plant seeds of love of the old school in our children of today. I am sure the Board of Directors is happy and appreciating what we are doing as parents and let us not move backwards,

Thanks for now and have a good day.
