I haven’t been to Capisic yet today, but aware that many people don’t use Facebook and eBird reporting isn’t super timely, I wanted to share here that the REDWING is still being seen today (31 Jan) at Capisic Pond. The earliest report I’ve seen was from Derik Bowen on the ABA Rare Bird Alert Facebook Group at 7:07AM, with most since indicating that the bird is still frequenting the patch of multiflora rose it was in yesterday.
Good birding,
Doug Hitchcox

Anyone out there have a photo of the Redwing that you would be willing to let us use in our Boothbay Register/Wiscasset Newspaper column this week?
