An afternoon birding trip produced the following, geese,eiders, long tails, mergansers,
Buffleheads, surf scooters, goldeneyes ,mallards, black ducks and one surprise, a Great Blue Heron.

That Great Blue Heron has been there all winter, more or less in the same spot every time I've seen it.
