Win 64?

Hi! http://lucee.org/downloads.html does not list a Windows 64 bit version of Lucee. On a Windows 64 bit production server, if I migrate from ACF10 64 bit to Lucee 5 32 bit, am I likely to see a big reduction in performance?

The Windows installer is 64 bit. There's no 32 bit version as far as I know.

Please note that Lucee is written in Java.  The "part" that determines whether it's running in 32bit or 64bit mode is the Java Runtime Environment, so on a 64bit machine all you have to do is ensure that you are running Lucee (and the servlet container, e.g. Tomcat) in a 64bit JVM.

Oh, OK. and does the JRE "come with" the Windows Installer as it does for ACF? Or would I download it separately from java.com?

The JRE is packaged with the Windows installer, but you can always setup Lucee yourself without the installer, or possibly update the JRE without waiting for an updated installer.

In that case you will probably want the Server JRE, currently available at
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/server-jre8-downloads-2133154.html

We used the installer, but always point to the latest security
baseline JDK from Oracle. You can do this with the Lucee-Tomcat
Service Control exe - look for the Java tab.
