I came across this post: http://blogs.coldfusion.com/post.cfm/pre-release-for-api-management-capabilities-in-coldfusion-raijin#respond

Seems a great feature. Any plan to support this also in Lucee?

Thanks

I saw the api manager at CFCamp and it was a full featured application (from what I understood of it) rather than just a “tag or function” of the language, so I doubt it.

Correct. Really, it's only tangentially related to the ColdFusion product. It's not an API Manager for ColdFusion APIs, it's simply an API managing application that is being developed by the ColdFusion Team. At, I suspect, the expense of resourcing for working on ColdFusion itself. Which is disappointing.

I actually think it's a mistake on Adobe's part to be associating it with ColdFusion. It won't *help* the reputation of the API Manager as ColdFusion is a reasonably toxic brand, and it should stand on its own merit.

If you use the Amazon cloud you can check out the AWS API gateways that do this job at scale and work with Anything as backend.

https://aws.amazon.com/api-gateway/

Cheers.
