Hey All,
I was hoping someone could help me, my amateur experience and limited time I had in this lead me to this situation where I have wired CAT7 in a bus fashion to all my radiators, I was going to use KNX for this but my limited knowledge in this area let me down. So currently it seems I have 2 options:
1. KNX with Loxone:
Which would require the following Kit as an example:
- ABB SV / S30.160.1.1 Power supply standard, 160 mA, RE, 160 mA, KNX BUS PSU
- ABB VAA / S6.230.2.1 Valve Drive Actuator, 6-gang
- ABB 2CDG120050R0011 TSA / K 24.2 Thermoelectric actuator, 24 V
- ABB VA / Z10.1 Valve Adapter Item
Now the problem with the above is I can only have a Max of 4 Actuators because I have wired in a bus fashion I will need to use 1 pair twisted per actuator, this is just theoretical.
2. Loxone Tree
- Loxone Valve Actuator Tree x5
- Tree Extension x1
The Loxone solution is the simplest and will work for my situation I believe correct me if I'm mistaken but its damn expensive, in comparison, the KNX solution is a lot cheaper *surprised*. Does anyone have an option 3 for me or is this as good as its going to get?
