It's a good job there's nothing more important to be doing, like organising an EGM, or at least proactively keeping members informed with what's taking so long... It's coming up to 2 months now.

I don't begrudge anyone a bit of larking around. Posting it everywhere without a thought for who or how it may mislead? It's exactly the kind of attention seeking clown act we have come to expect. 
But I do expect better from the others and their relative silence is worrying. I have theorized elsewhere about the possible reasons but whaterver the game it is I don't think it's going very well. I'm sure I'm not the only one who would be only too happy to hear something reassuring from them. Is be happy to donate a roll of gaffer tape if that helps you get a word in ;)
