Hello, today I was experimenting with the Logic Flex Pitch and correcting notes. I realized I could use the left/right arrow keys to navigate between pitch blobs, which was great because I no longer had to use transient navigation. However, the next time I tried, the arrow navigation stopped working. Regardless of what I did, whether setting the keyboard focus on the Flex Pitch window or clicking things with the mouse cursor, it never worked that way again. Does anybody know a way to bring it back? Also, is it possible to correct vocals by ear, or do I have to use MIDI input? What if I want to adjust it to something other than the perfect 440 Hz and instead correct it by ear? Thanks for the answers in advance.

While I know this can be done, I never got it to work reliably and consistently. Melodyne has a similar work flow, it’s all key commands without spoken feedback from the screen reader similar to FlexPitch but you can move between the notes with left/right and tune with command up/down and command option up/down for the most part. The least expensive version, is sufficient for this as well.

And i don't know if this is true for the Flex pitch but in melodyne, you can adjust notes with real precision so that you get a correct note.

I have yet to explore all of Melodyne but from what i've gathered so far it's quite impressive.

I did not know that Melodyne is now accessible in Logic. I use it in Windows and its great, but its really good to know that it is now accessible on the Mac.

What is the level of accessibility of Melodyne in Logic? Is it completely accessible or just partially accessible?

I hope some day soon I can try it out on a Mac.

May the Peace of God which passes all understanding guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
