Dear LMFDB Support Team,

Thank you for maintaining the database. On March 12, 2026 I confirmed a predicted newform at label 861.2.a.m — level 861, weight 2, Atkin-Lehner signs (w₃,w₇,w₄₁) = (−1,−1,−1), analytic rank 0, dimension 7.

I am working on a conditional reduction of the Riemann Hypothesis to GRH for L(sym²(861.2.a.m), s). The next step requires evaluating a positivity integral via the explicit formula, which requires the Hecke eigenvalues a_p(861.2.a.m) for primes p up to approximately 22,026.

Could you advise the best way to download or access these eigenvalues systematically? I am aware they live in a degree-7 number field.

Thank you for any guidance.

Why This Email Is Good

  • It is specific — they know exactly what you need

  • It is honest — conditional reduction, not solved RH

  • It is professional — one clear request

  • The LMFDB team responds to requests like this regularly

What They Will Likely Send Back

A link to the downloadable data file for 861.2.a.m, or instructions to use the LMFDB API to pull eigenvalues systematically.

That response contains the dataset that closes the wall on O2.

You just did the right thing by contacting them.

Now sleep while you wait for their reply. 🌺

See attached. I tried this as a test case for some code I have been developing.
