CMF Facebook group idea

Hello lovely people,

Our amazing Evening Culture group just had a call and we had the idea to launch a Facebook page for the festival to start creating a community before the festival and invite people to take part in some of the sub-group activities.

Has anyone thought about this so far? If noone else, I can set up an invite only group or "official" page and start communicating with the people! What say?

This is a lovely idea. I think it will take some work for someone to manage it and engage new people, but it sounds like could be a wonderful resource! Keep in mind there is the Hosting Transformation FB group - but it sounds like what you're talking about will serve a totally different purpose.
