As of rev 4148, Leo will put up a splash screen while loaded.

I like this a lot, but you can disable the feature by removing leo/
Icons/SplashScreen.jpg.

I just noticed that the present file has a copyright notice. I would
welcome suggestions for non-copyrighted images of a Leo "mascot".

Yes I did. In the last item of the thread I said: "If the image is royalty free, what is the problem?", to which nobody gave a reply.

So apparently I thought that Leo could use the copyrighted image because it was royalty free. Yes, it was a mistake. No, I don't feel ashamed about the mistake.

That was 10+ years ago. Right now jkn and I are in the process of fixing the licensing issue by paying a one-time fee.
