I exported an unbranded book the other day, and my verso page vanished. I did not expect that.

I expected only the leanpub logo and “buy this book at leanpub…” would go away.

Hi Johanna,

I'm not sure I follow. I'm attaching a screenshot of one of my verso
pages, and the same from the export unbranded, which seems to do what
you want.

What book is this for?

Thanks,
Peter

Hi Peter,

I attached two screen shots:

The first one has my publisher verso page plus leanpub branding. The second has only our copyright, no verso page.

What I would like is my verso page without the leanpub branding.

It’s the geographically distributed agile teams book. I wonder if my publisher name is part of it?

Thanks,
Johanna

Ah.

So, it's not that your verso page vanished, it's that some of the content was deliberately removed, and that we deliberately removed it because of a store named after a certain river.

If I recall correctly, the idea is that we have the "export unbranded" thing because stores like those named after a certain river won't sell ebooks with our publisher branding plus "buy this on leanpub here" in them.

Now, your idea is that they will sell the export unbranded with your branding, since it's different than ours, as long as we remove the Leanpub links.

You may be right, and you may not.  And even you're right now, you may be wrong in a month :)

I'll put this in our queue.

Thanks,
Peter
