New to group

Hi. My name is Greg. I have followed you guys on Facebook for a while but haven’t been out to skate yet. I would like to get started soon. Sundays would be the only day I would be able to do it. If there’s any helpful information you could share for a new skater to the group I would appreciate your feedback. Looking forward to skating with you all soon.

Hi Greg, and any other tentative skaters,

Sundays are our most laid-back skates. Unless otherwise posted, we always meet at the bottom of the Rocky Steps at 10am and depart at 10:20. Most regulars don't show up 'til closer to push-off, so don't panic if nobody's there right at 10.

We usually go about ten miles with brief stops and a longer water stop. Helmets and pads are strongly recommended. You should be able to brake, skate in control and handle street obstacles (curbs, tracks, etc.).
