Hi,

I am using the NI card pulseblaster for digital outputs which are meant to trigger certain devices in the lab. When I toggle the button corresponding to the output channel on Blacs I can clearly see the output change between 0V (when off) and 5V (when ON). However, when I send a command in a sequence as simple as:
trigger.enable(t); trigger.disable(t+100e-6)
I don't see anything changing at the output. When I look at it on Runviewer it also seems to never change the level. It seems like a compilation issue but I have never encountered this before.

Has anyone seen this before?

Dear Edita.

Somehow your message doesn’t make sense. The pulseblaster is a family of cards made by Spincore (https://www.spincore.com/products/PulseBlaster/), while in the labscript context, National Instruments (NI) makes items such as analog / digital out boards. What device, specifically is "NI card pulseblaster”? If it is a NI card, then you will need a pseudoclock of some sort to trigger it. Implementing a PrawnBlaster (https://docs.labscriptsuite.org/projects/labscript-devices/en/latest/devices/prawnblaster/) would be my suggestion in this case.

Hi Ian,

We have an NI card which we use to generate digital outputs. In order to do this we trigger it via labscript. We are testing one of the digital outputs which is operating properly when we trigger it via the Blacs interface (by pressing the button corresponding to that channel), however when we send a command via Runmanager to enable or disable this output nothing happens. We are also viewing the commands in Runviewer and the enable or disable commands are not doing anything, we just see a flat line at 0V in Runviewer.
