Since I’m reading all the time recommendations to favour openvidu instead of Kurento: Does openvidu also support things like Opencv and gstreamer plugins meanwhile?

Yes!! Since latest OpenVidu version you can use filters in a media session. These filters are Kurento filters.

You can invoke filter methods from clients, register to events and also change filters dynamically.

Please try it and if you find any problem, don't hesitate to ask us.
