Should we have the v1.8.0 retrospective *before* the unconference?

Hello all,

$subject was suggested by a few folks downstream today to avoid
overloading the unconference that tends to focus on upcoming work in
the next (v1.9.0) cycle. Would anyone object to this?

Unfortunately, Andrew appears to be out this week so I'm not sure how
we can create an official meeting and invite for this. Any ideas?

Regards,

Lee

Hey Lee,

I totally agree with having the v1.8.0 retrospective before the unconference. However, I cannot help with the scheduling or creating the official meeting invite.

Regards,

Thanks Federico,

I'll raise this on the community call tomorrow. In the meantime if
anyone does know how to formally create an invite on the community
calendar please let me know!

From the minutes it seems next Monday @14:00 UTC was suggested and it didn't seem like there was any objection - if true then I can set that up and send out an invite today.

Regarding creating calendar entries: a couple of the other maintainers have the login credentials as well but it would be better if there was a consistency to this, and documented somewhere.

Thanks Andrew, I've posted
https://groups.google.com/g/kubevirt-dev/c/5-jZcfsLBvo already, happy
to keep it there for now unless we formally need to host it on Zoom?

Thanks, would be nice to have a way to request the creation of invites
on that cal etc that the maintainers could then approve etc.

Cheers,

Thanks Lee,
Let's keep the one you've created to simplify things.
I've added it to the KubeVirt calendar.
