Yahoo IMAP settings:

Mozilla support forum about setting up Thunderbird to use Yahoo IMAP:

While I use Yahoo Mail, I've never tried using it from Thunderbird. My understanding was that the free Yahoo mail accounts don't support POP3 or IMAP access.

Thanks David,
I already used all of these ports and settings, disabling enabling av, 2FA, Yahoo app password, Yahoo account key, nothing works.

Sorry, the only thing I can think of is, is this a free or paid Yahoo account?

Vodafone Italia used to block IMAP connections to yahoo as they set up the connection in a slightly nonstandard way (I think they required to send a specific line of text before negotiating the encryption).
Might be something like that: I've set up free yahoo accounts for k9 and thunderbird successfully otherwise (after manually enabling IMAP in the yahoo settings, naturally).

Kind regards,

   Gunter.

I used it myself 5 days ago, and it was working.
It's free.
Nobody likes free things.
Thunderbird automatically configured it 5
Days ago, but it is not doing so now

Again one Yahoo account worked but another Don't.
By testing different settings of Thunderbird, one Yahoo account added(integrated) into Thunderbird,
But the same settings not working for the second Yahoo account.
Obviously this problem needs to be solved.

It definitely needs to. The question is, though, if IMAP needs to be enabled for the yahoo account in question (I know that most users I tell that on yahoo it isn't enabled by default reply that this was the problem so there must be a setting someone on http:)/mail.yahoo.com) or if there is a bug on Yahoo's side or in the thunderbird. But in all of these cases I am afraid that a mailing list that treads only k9 cannot help too much.

Kind regards,

   Gunter.
